The purpose of the Sacramento Uganda Fellowship is to promote understanding, dialogue and communication among the various Uganda communities, Sacramento residents, and the community-at-large to promote and coordinate the cooperative efforts and activities of the larger community. In 2020, Sacramento Uganda Fellowship birthed the Sacramento Uganda Ministry Network (SUMN), chaired by John Wallace from Carmichael PC. The purpose of the Sacramento Uganda Ministry Network (SUMN) is to collaboratively share ideas and connect and when possible, promote and sponsor/mentor projects of interest in order to strengthen the ongoing Ministries in Uganda associated with each participating group or congregation. The goal will be encouraging growth towards self-sustaining programs that provide education, leadership development, access to clean water, farming, housing, medical services to the vulnerable communities, in the name of Jesus Christ.
